Information we use
Mann Market is an independent TF2 community marketplace. Steam handles sign-in; we do not receive your Steam password. We use your Steam ID, public profile information, inventory information available through Steam, and the trade link you choose to save. We also store information you add, such as listings, messages, saved searches, notification settings, and Investment Tracker records. Contact requests include the reply email, message, request type, and optional Steam ID you provide, plus your account reference if you submit while signed in.
We use this information to run your account, display the marketplace, support trading and notifications, maintain your tracker, prevent abuse, and resolve support requests. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, request times, and diagnostic logs.
Public and private information
Your listings and trading profile are visible to other visitors. Your saved trade link is shared on your listings so others can send offers. Steam inventory information may be cached, so a change on Steam may not appear immediately. Messages, notification settings, tracker records, and contact requests are not public marketplace content. Authorized operators and service providers may process information as needed to provide support, maintain the service, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, preferences, and tracker functionality. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand site usage; Investment Tracker pages are excluded from those analytics. Blocking essential cookies or storage may prevent some features from working.
Google advertising
When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Advertising cookies can support personalized ads based on visits to Mann Market and other websites. We do not provide private messages, tracker entries, or Discord webhook addresses as advertising targeting data.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites. Manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center, or visit YourAdChoices for participating advertising partners. Turning off personalization does not necessarily remove ads.
Your advertising choices
Use the consent or privacy controls offered with advertising to review partners, manage consent, or opt out where available. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Ad-related data use may qualify as sharing or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, even without a monetary sale. Google's ad settings and partners' privacy policies explain their separate controls.
Service providers and external links
We use Vercel for hosting and analytics and Supabase for database hosting. Steam supplies account and inventory information. If you enable Discord alerts, the information needed for those alerts is sent to your chosen webhook. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. External services follow their own policies: Steam, Vercel, Supabase, and Discord.
Retention and requests
We retain information as needed to operate the service, maintain transaction history, address disputes or abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type; deleting public content does not necessarily remove related security records or backups immediately.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact page. We may ask you to verify control of the linked Steam account. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal reasons. We will update this page when our practices change.
